Visit to Spotted Horse Barnyard

Today we went for a visit and tour at the Spotted Horse Barnyard. It was pretty fun...and the kids had a blast. Even better....it was FREE $$! I am all about free entertainment! The kids got to feed & pet the horses, chickens, turkeys, baby chicks, bunny rabbits, and both kids went for their first horse ride!! I was a little nervous I must say....especially for Kenna since she was riding all by herself. But she wasn't scared one bit....and looked like a pro....so I felt better :o) Konner first tried it by himself...and thank the Lord he wanted the lady up there with him. I think I would have had a cow if he rode by himself. ha! It was a fun outing...and I am glad we got the opportunity to go.

Father's Day (I know this is late)

On Father's Day....we decided to go to "Solo's" airplane restaurant. (it's a restaurant built inside a retired Air Force airplane) We had never been there and thought it would be a fun place to take the dads and the kids for Father's Day lunch. It was good food....but way over priced in my opinion. The kids had a lot of fun, so it was worth it at least once! I know that this is way behind pon being posted....but with my brother and his dog coming to live with us permanently, his kids living with us for the summer, being pregnant and then my normal gang at home....we have been busy to say the least. So we have had a 2, 3, 4 , and 5 year old, 2 dogs, 3 adults and one bun in the oven....full house for sure. Our family reunion is in 3 weeks and we are hosting it in Colo Springs. So....it is not going to slow down any time soon!!

Sky Sox Baseball Game

The kids have loved it when we have taken them to a Colo Springs Sky Sox Baseball game....so when we were given 8 free tickets to the game....we jumped all over it! They had a blast and were excited about the whole thing....even though it kept them out late.

America The Beautiful Park

We decided that it was actually warm enough this day to head to the park and get wet....so we did!! The kids had a blast as usual....and it was free...which was even better!!

Go team!!

On the random occasion that Keith can sit down and play some football on the Playstation....the kids love to join him. He gives them a wireless remote that isn't turned on...and they think they are helping him win the game. The girls even put on their cheerleader outfits and cheered on the team (Texas Tech of course).

Mud & A Boy

We are re-doing the front yard because we are tired of having alot of grass and it having dead spots.......and then getting warnings by the HOA! So.....we are pulling everything up, adding more zeroscape and then putting new sod down. Konner was helping daddy. You can see what a big help he was. hehe

Grammie's visit....does she have to leave???

Farish Rec Area in Woodland Park, CO....where we are having our family reunion this summer.

YES....our kids are in their bare minimum more often than they are clothed......by about 90%!

Grammie came to visit us and spoiled us as usual. She bought us all new pots and pans, helped with groceries...what a treat! Then on top of that....she caught me all up on laundry, dishes, etc....and now I can start the week on top of things. Aren't moms GREAT! I really wished she could have stayed longer. We drove up to Farish Recreational area in Woodland Park, CO.....the Air Force Academy owns it. We are having our family reunion there this summer and wanted to go check it out. It should be tons of fun....beautiful and great times with family. I can't wait.

Easter pics....or at least an attempt

Kenna was the only one 1/2 way willing to take the picture before church :o)

I can't believe how big they are getting....Konner is gonna catch up before we know it!
Expressing his unhappiness at our picture taking......
The Prince Family

Is it Seriously Easter?

This was the picture we saw outside all day yesterday....Easter! Crazy.....you would think after living in North Dakota for 3 yrs that it would be no big deal....but I am not sure you ever get used to it snowing in April. HA!

Movie night at the "K-Theatre"

To polish off the week...we decided to end with a movie/popcorn and candy night. The feature film was Disney's "Tarzan". I had forgotten how cute that movie was....and how good the music is in it! The kids loved it...and loved being able to graze all the treats.
