Well we had our one and only ultrasound today! It went well, the baby looked great, and we are on track for the 4 Feb due date. Even more exciting, we found out that it is a BOY!!! Yeah!! I am in shock to be honest with you. I had that feeling that it would be a boy....but with Kenna around...all I can think about is girls!! Well it looks like we are carrying on the tradition. My parents had a girl, then boy. My brother had a girl, then boy. Now we have had a girl...and now a boy!!

Here are Kenna's long awaited 9 month portraits....a month & 1/2 late! Her 10 month pics will be ready next week! haha! Oh well....better late than never I guess. AS you can see....Kenna should be a baby model!! (I am not biased!!)

Promotion day!

Today Keith pinned on Captain...and it all went smoothly!! It was hectic and chaotic....but it all worked out. We had a lot of food left over, but better to have too much than not enough!! During the ceremony Kenna and I pinned on Keith's new rank....which I thought Kenna was a cute addition! He presented Kenna and I with our own beautiful bouquets of flowers....which smelled and looked awesome!! All & all....we are all glad it is over and we can go on with life! haha!! I am very proud of Keith and know he will make an AWESOME Captain!!

A successful weekend!!!

Well.....we had a big weekend. I turned the big 30 and went camping with an infant for the first time all in one weekend! We went to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, ND and we had a lot of fun. Evidently the town shuts down after this weekend....so we went just in time. We were of course sleeping in tents and the first night there....we were welcomed with 34 degree temperatures!! Kenna hasn't come close to ever sleeping in that cold of temps in her toasty home!! Needless to say she was a trooper! We woke up the next morning to HUGE buffalo grazing about 50 yards or less from our tent! We spent a great deal of our time chasing Kenna who was exploring, checking things out, and trying to "taste" nature....especially rocks!! We cooked out, went touring, shopping, and then ended our time going to the Pitchfork Fondue dinner and the Medora Musical. It was alot of fun and an awesome way to spend a birthday! With friends and family!!
