Yeah for food!

Tonight for dinner, Konner decided to put his dinner plate on his head. Well after he pulled it off....it left a mohawk! We started cracking up and this is the look that appeared on his face. He was tickled with himself!!! Look at this ham!!!!

Cousin time!

Kenna and Konner's cousin Michelle has been here vising....and they have really been enjoying their bonding time!! They have been getting along wonderfully except the few times Kenna doesn't feel like sharing her toys. That is still a lesson we are trying to learn. Some adults are still learning that....haha!

He looks like a big boy!!

Konner got his first real haircut yesterday! His Grandma Rosie cut his hair....and he wasn't too fond of the process. But he looks so stinkin cute!! Every time I look at him....I smile. He looks so much older....and I can see all of his chubs so clearly now! It is funny......we went to the mall and he got fawned over by soooo many women. He even got us a discount at the food court where they don't usually give discounts! His looks are already charming the ladies!!!

Tonight we went to a church Christmas party, and there were a ton of people there from TX! Oddly enough, 15 families from my home town came here to start this church. So we felt right at home. Crazy!! Kenna was SO excited the minute I told her we were going to a party. It was like someone injected her with a serious shot of adrenaline. She jabbered, danced and sang the whole time we were getting ready. Then she put on her Christmas sweater, hat and mittens and she was even more excited. Then she saw that we were taking presents to exchange and she was even more excited. I love seeing the world through a 2 year old's eyes!! By the way....the reason Kenna has an ornament hanging from her zipper is because of a game we played. I am sure most of you have played the baby shower game where you wear a safety pin and try not to say the word BABY...or someone will take your pin....and whoever has the most pins at the end, wins. Well this game was the same but you couldn't say Christmas and the "pin" was an ornament. It was pretty fun....except as usual I lost mine within the first 15 minutes. We also played Let's Make a Deal and of course we picked box #2 which had one bottle of nail polish in it. Bummer!

Anyone else want to join me??

This morning I sat down for five minutes Kenna wanted to join me. Then Konner wanted up, then my brother's dog Hazel, then my dog Kassie!! Before I knew it, the chair had reached far beyond it's maximum capacity! Ha! The more the merrier I guess!

AND stop snickering....I am not wearing pantie hose...my legs are really just that white!! haha!

Happy girl after a good nap!!
Uncle Charles playing with the bells and whistles on his new camera

HHHmmmm...I think I will take just one.
These two are double trouble....
Ok one more......
Kenna in her newest Princess dress from our friend Janise!!
Kenna eating yummy pancakes that her Uncle Charles cooked up. He was looking for something fun to put in the batter and founds oreos! I that it sounded nasty....but the oreo pancakes were good! Who would have thought! Look out Emerill!!

Well.....we finally got the Christmas decorations up. I went to Home Depot with the instructions to get a real tree. I had those intentions, but after contemplating the reality of having a real tree, with glass ornaments, and my little ones.....I quickly decided that a small, pre-lit tree with shatter proof ornaments sounded better to me. So, I came home with a fake tree. Kenna and Konner were more than happy with it!! It seems for every one ornament that I put back on the tree, Konner takes two off!! It is tiring.....so I have somewhat given up. I think it will suit us fine this year and we will go back to real trees next year when Konner can take a little more direction!!

Yeah for visitors!!

Well.......since we have been here (3 weeks) we have had at least one guest staying here at all times. Diane PCS'd here with us and finally found a house for her family. So that is good news for her....bad for me. She has been a HUGE help. My mom came for 4 days to help me unpack and left this morning. My brother drive here last night and might be staying through the holidays!! Yeah!! It is always nice to have family around. Kenna and Konner are so used to people coming in and out (with moving, packing, visitors, etc....) they don't even flench when a new face comes in! ha!!

I have set up a play date to be at my house in a week & 1/2...so that is my deadline to try to have the house presentable. I am in the Pikes Peak Hip Mamas group....it has been fun. We have gone to an indoor amusement park that has a whole little town for toddlers, had several play groups, gone to a place called Pump It UP that has 12 indoor inflatable bouncers/obstacle courses, a place called My Gym that is an exercise place for mom and tots. We went to Old Colorado City where we shopped and visited Santa. All that on top of unpacking. We have been busy folks.

I also went shopping the morning of Black Friday with Jill Ayres (from Grand Forks...she moved here this last summer) We left my house at 4:30 am and fought the crowds! It was INSANE!! We stayed at the first store (Toys R Us) from 5am until 8:15am!! It was crazy....but fun all at the same time. I guess I am an adreneline junky....I love a bargain!!

Let it snow, Let it snow, let it snow!

Well....it has been pretty mild here and finally we have gotten some snow!! It is so pretty when everything is white and clean. We also have a nice view of Pikes Peak from our yard. Here are some pic of our new house....outside at least!
