We have at least 5 different kid chairs in our living room, and these are the types of places we find our kids sitting, laying, and lounging! All in one evening we found
Konner in places like Kassie's bed to my suitcase. Silly kid! He looks like he thinks it is pretty comfortable....I guess it gets his seal of approval!! You can notice that he also has our
tv remote in his hand in all pictures. That child.....if he isn't pushing buttons on the remote, then it is the
tv buttons, or the
dvd buttons, or my cell phone....or the home phone....he loves them all!! I can't tell you how many times my mom has gotten a prank call from
Konner! Note: Also notice that Konner's sleeve is wet on one arm...that would be because only moments earlier he decided it would be funny to stick his arm in our dogs water bowl and throw water and dog food all over the place. At least he had fun!!
Also....on Kenna's horizon....we have begun the
binkie phasing out process. We were down to one
binkie and I decided it was either time to start taking it away or get more....because searching for one
binkie was the pits!! So two nights ago I cut the tip off of her only
binkie. Poor thing put it in her mouth and took it back out and said" Mom my
binkie broken.....fix it?!" I told her I couldn't fix it and that she was getting older and her
binkie was braking. When it broke we would have to throw it away and no more
binkies. Well...she wasn't real excited about the state it was in.....but she proceeded to carry it around that day, night and the next day. Well.....last night was the first night (in I have NO idea how long) that she went to sleep without her
binkie!! I kept waiting to hear her asking for it....but she didn't. So.....that is one night down.....how many more to go??!! We'll see how today goes. If she still likes it....I will probably cut off more until there is really nothing to suck on. I will keep you posted. I just don't want the poor child to have to go through what I went through with thumb sucking. I starting going to the dentist when I was 3, had the pallet of my mouth broken 2 different times, retainers, 3 sets of braces, head gears, etc....I literally think I have had everything a dentist and
orthodontist could give me!! I don't want that for Kenna or
Konner.
Konner luckily (and
unluckily) won't take anything...although he has taken a recent interest in Kenna's
binkies....he loves to go up to her, pull it out of her mouth and run or crawl like his pants are on fire!
haha! I can't help but laugh as Kenna's yells at him to bring it back!!) What a little brother!
