The new STAND and Spin

So......once again my son uses a toy for purposes other than it was intended! haha!! It is called a Sit N Spin because you are supposed to SIT on it......Konner must think it should be called a STAND and spin....because that is his favorite way to play with it!! What a wild guy.....he is "cruisin for a bruisin" as my mom would say. He has been riding it this way since he was 10 & 1/2 months old and before he could walk!!!

Late Happy St. Patrick's Day!

OK.....so I am really late but Happy St Patrick's day!! We had a St Patrick's day playgroup to attend.....so we were all decked out in our green so we wouldn't get pinched!! I forgot to take their pictures before the playgroup....so they are a little dirty and worn out in these pics! haha!

I had family in town for a week and then when they left I followed them back to TX for 6 days....I am still there and I will go back Wens or Thursday. Keith decided I needed a first ever break from the kids. So.....I am here ALONE!! Can you believe it?! The longest I have been away from Kenna is 12 hours and Konner is 4 hours. So we are going on 48 hours! I feel like I have forgotten something!! I have gone shopping alot.....gone to the movies once (so far) and gone out to eat a couple of times! Who hooo....this is the life!!! haha!! No it is fun but I am missing my little ones.

We LOVE the 80's!!

Well I had 80's bunko last night with the mother's in my playgroup. It was fun times. I had ordered a Jon Bon Jovi t-shirt off ebay that was personalied...for only $9! Can't beat that with a stick! Anyway.....everyone was dressed up and looked hilarious! I felt like I had stepped literally back into the 80's! We had 80's music, 80's beverages, 80's candy (poprocks, bubblegum ciggarettes) and to complete it...jelly shoes! Amazingly enough they are readily available everywhere!~ Then we played two truths and 1 lie...where you had to write down (you guessed it) two truths and one lie about yourself and people had to guess which ones were true and false. It was a fun way to learn about each other! :o) Oh yeah....to top things off....I won $25 for the most losses!! yeah it pays to be the loser!!

Amazingly enough his balance is so good, he can stay there long enough for me to take a ton of pictures AND make sure he doesn't crash! haha!

Are my children destined to visit the Emergency room with a broken bone before their 2 year b-day? Kenna reached that milestone at 13 months.....and it appears Konner is trying also. Every time I look around he is standing on something, balancing on something (that isn't stable), laying somewhere crazy, jumping up and down on the treadmill, standing in a drawer, climbing up a shelf, etc.....Everyone that sees Konner says that they thought they had a busy son......but Konner is BUSY! And he is!! Take it from me....that child has more bruises than Kenna ever had!

Mystery Picture of the week!?!

So........this looks like an ordinary pile of blankets right?? They are actually Kenna's blankets....but that isn't what is special and different about them (although Kenna would beg to differ) Notice something different toward the bottom of the blankets? Yes that would be my dog Kassie's nose. Haha! Kenna must have thought she looked cold or needed a blanket to snuggle with.

I scream, You scream, we all scream for ice cream!

Well....needless to say candy and ice cream would be a part of Kenna's daily food pyramid if I let her. So.....I thought it would be appropriate to get her a shirt that expressed it! To top it off I found all sorts of cute hand made hair clips off ebay....and got some to match this (and her other ice cream clothing) and many of her latest clothes. Love ebay! Wish I as talented enough to make such cute things!

Also...we have had my best friend Micah and her son William visiting this week from Houston TX. They just let, but we had a lot of fun this week!! Doesn't he have the curliest hair ever! Love it! He is a month & 1/2 older than Kenna and they had a blast playing together and got along soooo well! I was shocked! Not that Kenna doesn't get along with other kids.....but she is usually more leery about boys. (for good reason! ha!)

Concert in Denver, CO

Well Keith and I went on a date to a rockin concert in Denver. It featured Christian artists Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, and Toby Mac. Jeremy Camp is Keith's favorite and one of my all time fav's. It was ton's of fun....and they were all GREAT! Toby Mac rocked the house...and had everyone dancing.

Dawn this is for you!

Ok my friend Dawn has been wanting me to take some pictures of the house....and I have been putting it off since it seems I can never keep the house clean for longer than 5 minutes. I clean it and then the Prince tornados come through behind me! haha! Sooo...anyway. I thought I would just take some pics and forget about it being clean. So.....here is an idea of some spaces....could be cleaner.....but you get the idea. I will post more as I get a chance.

A little cubby in our living room....I think it is supposed to be for a t.v. or something like that. well since we made our living room a semi-play room....I decided to make the cubby a dress up closet. Kenna has so much dress up stuff that it needed to be organized. So here it is closed....

Kassie put's it to the test

Well...I bought Kassie a Purina Busy Bone Ultimate today. I read that it would keep a dog busy for an hour! I thought this would be a miracle if it could keep Kassie busy that long. That girl may look and act sweet....but she can tear through steel in 5 seconds if she wants too....including every bone we have gotten her. Well being that I have NOTHING else better to do...I decided to time it. It took her 33 minutes...which is actually a long time for her. So it would probably take any other dog three days. So....I give it a pretty good thumbs up.

This looks alot like I feel some days....haha! No...I love my little monkeys....and they can't help but want to hang on me! haha!

We finally added the purple "princess" tent that Kenna got for Christmas. She loves it and feels so big. Now if she would only stop taking off her clothes in the middle of the night and having accidents....that would be great. Her poor blanket is going to fall apart from all the washing!
