Sorry guys!!

I finally fixed the problem on my blog for good! Yeah! Well.....Keith has been gone for 3 weeks now....for those of you who don't know....Keith is in Iraq. YUCK! We are leaving for home in another 3 weeks. My mom is flying here and then we are driving....I am a little nervous about driving with an 18month old and 4 month old....all the way to TX!! Should be interesting...my mom is a brave woman.

We have been keeping busy in hope that the time will pass faster. I tell you what...I do not envy single parents. This is a lot of work!! There is never any down time.....except when I am TRYING to sleep. Heavy on the trying.

I talk to Keith every morning...and he is doing well. I try to keep him informed on the kids....I am not sure who has the harder job right now...him or me?? He has free access to all the latest movies at the theatre, pools, gyms, yummy food (Even a seafood night on Thursdays with lobster and crab legs).....and he gets uninterrupted sleep (after you get used to planes taking off constantly. So......I guess you can decide who has it harder! haha! I wouldn't like the heat....and of course the biggie....not seeing the kiddos for 5 months. I can't even imagine....especially since I haven't been away from both kids in 4 months longer than 30 minutes.

Well...that is about it for now. I will update more often now that I figured this thing out!!

Stinkin blog!

Sorry its been a while....the blog keeps being finicky!! Not much going on except preparing for Keith to deploy. YUCK!! He leaves in two weeks....and I am really trying not to think about it. I don't like the idea of being a single parent for 4 1/2- 6 months. Not my idea of fun!! Poor Keith is gonna miss the kids big time.....glad its not me!! I haven't been away from Kenna for more than 16 hours! And not more than 3 hours from Konner! (not is not gonna get better until he stops needing me as a food source......he is not taking a bottle!) UGH!! Here are some recent pics of the kiddos.

In other news, Keith turned 30 last week, Konner had his 2 month check up and is 15 lbs and 10 weeks old, Kenna is 29 lbs and 17 months old, and I am 30 and .....just kidding....I wouldn't dare divulge that information!! haha!

Today it is snowing and it is only 4 days until Easter!! That is crazy...what is up with the weather!!!???

It's been a while since I have written....sorry guys!~ I have had computer problems....and whole bunch of other stuff going on. To start.....when we were in the hospital....we were told we had to move.....so that was exciting (yah right!) Then we found out Keith would be going out of twon for to weeks starting last Thursday and then would be deploying for 5 months in April! YEAH!! So....we have been moving the past week and a half.....we are in....and my mom left today. I am fighting to not sink into depression with Keith and my mom gone....and me here all by my lonesome. I am very thankful my mom was able to come though.....we wouldn't have survived without her. Here are some pics we have taken over the past two weeks.

It's a BOY!!!

Well Konner is here! I was expecting him to be here so soon....but it is a good thing. I went in for a normal checkup on Tuesday afternoon and didn't go home until yesterday!! Needless to say, I went to my Dr appointment and my blood pressure was too high and they wouldn't let me go. That being on top of the fact that Konner was measuring large....led them to admit me into the hospital. Soo.....after some rushing around, packing etc.....Keith finally got Kenna dropped off and joined me at the hospital. After 9 hours of labor and 3 weeks EARLY, Konner was born at 5:13am on Jan 17th. He weighed in at 11lbs 8.9 ozs and 22 & 1/2 inches long!! Big boy!! My Doctor said that was the biggest baby he had ever delivered naturally and not by c-section in his 28 years of practice. Nice!! Just the record I was looking to break!! He is healthy besides losing a little too much weight in the first two days (I think due to his circumcision....who would want to eat after that!) and then he is slightly jaundice so they have him on the light blanket (the Wallaby3). So....we have to go back again on Monday and have his billyrueben levels checked. (sp?) Otherwise we are all doing good. Kenna is fascinated with him and wants to touch him a lot. Well...I need to go but wanted to update ya'll!

Well today I had another Dr appointment and all went well. I did test positive for Group B Strep...which is no big deal. They will just have to give me antibiotics in an IV when I go into labor. The strep occurs in 20-30% of pregnant women....so it is pretty common.

Kenna went to our friend Tanya's house while I went to the Dr. She watched Kenna and she played with her son Andrew. He is 4 months older than Kenna....but they played well together! They had fun from what I saw.....even when he got a kick out of pushing her down for a reaction!! Luckily Kenna just looked at him like "what was that for?" But it went really well....thank goodness!!

I turn 37 weeks pregnant this weekend....so I am sure the Dr will want to come up with a plan on Tuesday. We'll see!!

Just thought I would show a picture of Kenna enjoying her Christmas present from mommy and daddy. She likes it...and so do I until she tried to stand on it and rock (on a hard wood floor). I am afraid she is going to put me into labor....I can't count the number of times she has almost bit the dust big time just this week!! The picture of her and Kassie has a rug burn on it.....as she was in a Little Tykes police car and proceeded to get out the wrong side, which flipped the whole thing over and sent her skidding on the carpet. Tonight she rolled around and ripped the scab off, made it 2x worse and now looks like we has been in a boxing championship!!! Let's hope our son will be the subdued one!!!!

we are home!!!!

Well....we got home safe and sound...and I wasn't kidding when I said it would be a mircacle to get all of our stuff home! We almost were charged an extra $50 for over weight bags....but after a little switching around...we got all the bags to 50lbs. UGH!! This morning Kenna got her cast off....which was pretty quick and painless....although she didn't initially think so. The technician said she did a really good job...and she did. She is already walking on it.....but still walks like she has a cast on for now. Poor thing. She got her first real bath in 4 weeks tonight and that was nice.

After her Dr appointment today, I had my ultrasound. It went well...Konnor looked good....but he is looking big. The Dr said his body is measuring 39 weeks right now, and his head is 41 weeks! UGH!! Sooo....he looked really nervous when we was going over the numbers. He said alot of Drs would go ahead and do a C-section in two weeks.....because they don't want the baby to get stuck....but her wasn't there yet since I had given birth to a 10 & 1/2 lb baby on the first try with relatively no trouble. So.....I now have to see him twice a week until the big day, get stress tests every week....and try to keep him in 2 more weeks. At that time they said they would do an amnio (which if that is what I think it is...it doesn't sound fun) to determine if his lungs are mature enough. If they are....then it look like he will be coming out sooner rather than later. So much for that 4 Feb due date!! Looks like we are gonna have a January baby. He said if we went 5 weeks until his due date....he would be bigger than Kenna! Imagine that!

Well that is the latest on our end. No pic today....I have barely had time to write this!! I will check in later!!

Almost home....

Well our visit to Tx has been a good one and allowed me to get some much needed physical help. Since the moment we got here....I have been steadly declining on how good I feel. I felt great at this point with Kenna....not so much this time. I am tired, back is killing me, I have pains everywhere, can't stand up for longer than 10 minutes, can't walk for more than a black, can't pick up Kenna without feeling like I am ripping something....and after a trip to the ER....I found out I have a Urinary Tract Infection and I am borderline preacclampsia. I have had high blood pressure for at least the past two weeks....but I am hoping it was due to the infection. The hospital wanted to admit me....but I didn't want to! haha!! My Dr in North Dakota has put me on bed rest...haha yeah right with a 14 month old!!!! I will try to do what I can....although it will be hard when we get back home and it is just me all day. After we get home, the next morning Kenna gets off her cast and I have an utlrasound to determine the size of baby Konner and see if the due date needs to be adjusted. Everyone I see things I am due now. If I hear one more comment about me having twins or triplets.....I think I will puke!!! haha!

Christmas was good and Santa spoiled us of course. It will be a Christmas miracle in itself if we get everything home!!!! Keith and I have been to 4 movies which is more than we have seen the whole time in N.D. It has been nice. Kenna learned to walk on her cast after only having it on for a week and a half. What a mover & a shaker!!

Poor Kenna!!

Well...Sunday turned out to be more eventful than we had planned for it to be. We had planned on getting Kenna up from her nap and then going to bible study. Well that wasn't the case. Keith got her up from her nap...and the poor guy was changing her diaper....took two steps to put it in the diaper pail....and Kenna had rolled off the changing table. The bottom drawer of the dresser was out, and she got her leg caught on it!! Needless to say, we spent the evening in the ER and Kenna came home with a cast on her leg. She broke her left tibia.....poor thing. I cried all Sunday night and all Monday morning...because it broke my heart!! She is sooo active and she can't do any of the things she loves!!! So......we will spend all of Christmas and our time in TX with a cast....but I guess we will all survive!! Then after all that....she had to get her 2nd round of the flu shot yesterday along with her Hepatitis A shot....and then she has to go with me to my OB/GYN appoint tomorrow....and she has another appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on Thursday. All that is after going to the Dr last week and getting put on antibiotics for ear infections!! When it rains, it pours, huh!?? SHe is tough....way tougher than I!!

Let It snow, Let it Snow, Let it snow.....

Well we finally have snow. I don't mind the snow....it is the ice that is underneathe that I don't like!! I am really having to take baby steps out there!! Kenna loves to be outside...and the snow does not slow her down!! Today it was 4 degrees for a high and -23 with the windchill!!! Nice! You know it is cold when your snot freezes and you feel like your eye sockets are freezing!!
Kenna has also been in a kick where she loves putting on necklaces, bracelets, hats and lately shoes!! She tried on many pairs of shoes today, wearing only a shirt and diaper. She also tried putting on daddy's shoes....and had to settle for his hat!!

Off to the Twin Cities!!

Well we went to Minneapolis/St. Paul last weekend to catch up with our friend and old Utah neighbor Heather and her daughter Marin. We had a short but good visit. We had a early Thanksgiving dinner with them, her parents, grandmother and aunt. YUM!! On the way home we stopped at the outlet malls and did some shopping....which is always dangerous....but we did good. Overall we had a good trip!

Well today Kenna and I went to he escape zone and played with some other kids. Afterwards we met Keith for his squadron Thanksgiving Luncheon. It was good and Kenna got to ham it up. It looks like tomorrow we are going to head off to Minneapolis, MN to see our friend and old neighbor Heather (and her two kiddos!). She is there visiting her family and we thought we would go see her while she was in a close proximity. I am sure I will have photos to blog next week of our visit!! Pray for our safety!!
By the way....I got this cute hat from Old Navy for $1.50! Gotta love clearance bargains!!

Just the other day, as Kenna was begging to go play outside....we quickly realized that we don't have any snow suits, hats, or mittens that fit Kenna right now!! WHOOPS! So....the only thing we could find was this snow suit we had in the closet. Needless to say...she was so puffy and padded...that the poor thing couldn't walk!! She would fall because it was so hard to walk in...and then she couldn't get back up!! It was so sad that it was funny!! I have since gone to the thrift store and bought some replacements...and a trip to Old Navy got her another hat and mittens.

Kenna turned 1 this week!!!

Well Kenna turned 1 on Halloween like many of you already know. We were in Houston, Tx for her birthday because daddy was TDY...and we didn't want to hang out alone. So, my friend Micah paid for us to come visit. We had a pretty good time....went to the Houston Zoo, out to eat for her b-day (Mexican food...yeah!!), she ate a whole big piece of her b-day cake, got dressed up in her Halloween costume and went to a chidlren's party, and just had fun visiting. The trip was quite exhausting, being almost 7 months pregnant (much bigger at this point than last time) and chasing a 1 year old that has discovered her ability to walk fast!!! We are glad to be home, have daddy home, and be in our own beds!!!

We have a walker on our hands ladies and gentleman!! Kenna has been taking steps for weeks....but as of last Tuesday...(about a week 1/2 ago) she really started walking!! It is soo fun to see her concentrate and walk all over the place!! I finally remembered my camera at the Escape Zone and took some pics!!

I am a little late...but here is a picture of Kenna and I at a playdate at Dawn's house. We had coffee cake, played Mancala, and talked while the kiddos played. Sunday Keith and I got to go on our first movie date since January...and we went to see Man of the Year. It wasn't all that we expected, but it was nice to go. Today I had an OSC brunch at the thrift store....and we shoppeed half price. I gopt all sorts of goodies for Kenna, Kole and I. I only spent $10 and got a ton of cute stuff!! Tonight I went and tried to get some stuff in preperation for our trip to Houston this Friday! Yeah!!
